Wedding design is a collaborative adventure and we adored working with our clients Issy and Mike and their wedding planner Claire Do Monte to plan this Twixmas wedding in December 2024 at Hedsor House near London.

The clients wanted elegant neutrals in shades of white, ivory and the palest pinks and I suggested added a rich burgundy as an accent colour. The clients were convinced when they saw my Look Book of design inspiration and drawings and adding colour tablecloths to their wedding breakfast plans for the Ballroom and wow did it work! A darker base cloth and accent created warmth and intimacy and proved the perfect foil for the delicate winter florals on the tables.

Issy and I planned her bridal bouquet in detail - we knew it needed to be a symphony of texture and layers to complement her divine Philippa Lepley gown. Scented roses and delicate 'Hanoi' ranunculus were the hero flowers in the final recipe and I am really looking forward to revisting this one as I am booked to make a replica for preservation.
Love Notes
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Fi for our wedding and we cannot thank her enough for everything she has done for us both in the planning stages of the wedding and the wedding day itself. From the very start Fi has been exceptional, creating a bespoke proposal based on our (very rough!) ideas and the result was truly extraordinary. She completely captured our vision for the day and it was nothing short of perfect.
From our initial meeting, Fi was a delight to work with. She took the time to visit our venue, truly understanding our vision in a way that even we hadn’t fully realised. Her attention to detail was amazing, resulting in the most exquisite floral arrangements and stunning table designs we have ever seen. All of our guests commented on how stunning all of the flowers were.
Fi's dedication and passion for her craft made her an absolute joy to work with, and she played a pivotal role in making our wedding day incredibly special. Both my bridal bouquet and the bridesmaids' bouquets were breathtaking, beautifully complemented by the grooms' and groomsmen's buttonholes.
We wholeheartedly recommend Fi to anyone looking for a florist who goes above and beyond to bring your floral dreams to life. Her artistry, professionalism, and warm personality make her an outstanding choice for any event. Thank you, Fi, for making our day truly magical!

Hedsor House

The Wedding Flowers
The floral design started at the impressive front of the Hedsor House with a lush foliage display tumbling down the steps with loads of candles. The Central Hall was filled with blousy floral meadows on the aisle leading to two huge floral urns on plinths. More candles were added to the fireplace and niches to add to the cosy atmosphere.

After the ceremony, we moved the meadows to bookend the dining tables in the wood panelled Ballroom and also created a feature of the long fabric table plan sign. Table flowers were kept delicate with lots of bud vases and posy vases filled with roses, ranunculus and scented narcissi. Ivory candles in glass shades cast a warm glow across the room as night fell. The piece de resistance was the cake display - a magnificent two tier cake with fresh flowers by UK cake designer Anna Lewis graced the central acrylic plinths with lower floral designs and candles on the lower plinths.
