NEW ROSE VARIETIES ANNOUNCED

Tracking down the perfect hero flower for my brides is one of life's greatest pleasures and a key step on the Corky and Prince client journey.

I avidly read and research all the trade news sites and releases so I can bring my clients the very best new flowers on the scene as well as visiting the flower market in Covent Garden and local flower farms. Launching for 2025, here are just five new rose varieties from Wans roses that I am super keen to meet together with ideas of how to use them for your wedding.

First up, "Bridgerton" - named after the Netflix hit drama that had us all swooning for Regency gentlemen and big frocks, this garden rose is creamy white with big frilly petals. A definite contender for a bridal bouquet that all about softness and romance.

Another new contender for an elegant neutrals scheme is this highly perfumed rose called "Parfum Blanche". Finding a scented flower is a key step when I develop flower recipes for my clients as I think it is critical that wedding flowers touch all the senses.

It's surprisingly tricky to find a genuinely pale pink garden rose so I was delighted to see "Paradise Beach". I can't wait to combine her with other stars of the summer garden such as sweet peas, phlox and pelargonium.

The trend for all white wedding flowers shows no signs of stopping any time soon so it's great to have another option in this colour with "Snow Dream".

And finally something super cute and quirky - "Magic Affairs" has a gorgeously green centre and multi tonal outer petals in shades of peach, watermelon and corally pink. This little beauty would be right at home in a joyful colour palette inspired by Aperol Spritz!
