Our clients Georgia and Ollie had a vision of a laid-back luxury outdoor wedding in the picture perfect walled garden at Elmore Court. They knew they wanted vibrant colours yet they also wanted the vibe to be elegant and in keeping with the stately home backdrop of the house. Wedding planner Georgina Alexander and I worked on the brief with a deep rich coral as the hero hue. From there we added some softer peach and ivory tones and some deep orangey notes for contrast. The finished result? Nothing short of fabulous! In fact, US wedding blog "Wedding Chicks" loved in some much they shared it all over their social media channels so this one really did have an international appeal.

So here's a summary of the floral designs we created for this summer wedding in the Cotswolds, starting with the fine art bridal bouquet. Georgia wanted a fusion design with some bold blooms and also a natural cascade of jasmine tendrils. This bridal bouquet featured 'Coral Sunset' peonies, peach roses, geums and spray roses and complemented Georgia's off the shoulder gown by designer Madi Lane.

The six bridesmaids all chose their own dress in the colour palette and it was a look that couldn’t t have worked out better as the mix of patterns, colours and styles created a relaxed informality which we loved. One of my fav images from last year is this one of Georgia and her tribe - feel the love 🧡

The bridesmaids bouquets were contemporary designs featuring peonies and roses.

The ceremony took place in the walled garden with an aisle lined with peonies, roses and floating ribbons. A large broken floral arch formed the backdrop and framed the couple as they made their vows.

The florals were continued to the signage with meadows and floral sprays continuing the colour palette.

The wedding reception took place in the Gillyflower at Elmore Court. The couple opted for 3 long banqueting tables and a classic top table. The table flowers were a charming mix of bud vases interspersed with slim taper candles in a striking raspberry pink.

We re-purposed the meadow flowers from the aisle to create a beautiful runner across the front of the top table and my team sat and hand-sewed an ombré curtain of fresh flowers to create a feature behind the bride and groom.

The couple were really thrilled with the end result and their kind words really touched me.

"Every step of the way, Fi was just incredible to work with. From the fully detailed proposals, to helping guide the colour scheme, the planning was flawless. And on the day I have no words to explain how amazing Fi was. My bouquet was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, plus I spent a large part of the ceremony staring at the ceremony flowers as I was in awe. And the ceremony room……she bought my vision to life and for that I am forever grateful!"
