Planning your dream wedding flowers
with Corky and Prince

The Bespoke Experience - Four Steps to Unforgettable Flowers

My mission is to make planning your wedding flowers an inspiring, immersive, and thoroughly joyful experience. I understand that choosing your floral designer is a significant milestone on your journey; over the years, I have guided couples from all walks of life—from dedicated flower lovers to those who simply know that beautiful blooms are a non-negotiable ingredient for their dream day.

My Client Journey is designed to explore the possibilities together, helping you craft a floral narrative that is uniquely yours. From our first conversation to the final installation, I am here to ensure you reach your wedding day full of anticipation—confident that your vision will be delivered with absolute flawlessness.

" Every step of the way, Fi was just incredible to work with. From the fully detailed proposals, to helping guide the colour scheme, the planning was flawless."

Step one
Exploring your hopes and dreams

Bridal and bridesmaids bouquets for a summer wedding with peach, pink and ivory flowers by Cotswolds wedding florists Corky and Prince.

Our journey together begins with a complimentary Discovery call on Zoom where we'll explore your hopes and dreams for your wedding day.

I'll listen carefully and ask lots of questions about what matters to you both, how you want your day to look, and more importantly, the emotions that you want to evoke and experience. Please don't worry if the gentle language of flowers is a mystery to you or the vision for your day is somewhat hazy - nurturing your ideas is what I'm here to help you with, it's my passion.

Step two
Your Look Book
and Quotation

Following our call, I'll create a digital presentation known as a Look Book, where I'll play back the initial concepts for your flowers. The ambience and the colour palette, the style of bouquets and buttonholes, the potential plan for the ceremony and reception, together with transparent guide pricing within your desired budget. I want the Look Book to be a visual feast for your heart and soul.

The goal is simple - do I truly understand your vision (however hazy it may be at this stage)? If the answer is  a resounding "Yes" and you love what you see, then we're a match ❤️  - you've found your wedding florist.

" All I can say is WOW - we have never felt more listened to!

The way you have included so much thought about the little elements we have discussed."

Step three
Designing your wedding flowers - the Site Visit

With your date secured in my diary, we'll make a date for the Site Visit and Detailed Consultation, our chance to meet IRL and get to know each other better. We'll meet at your venue(s) and together we'll 'walk the wedding day' from start to finish, imagining how you and your guests will experience each moment.

We'll discuss the perfect combination flowers together with the vessels and stands for your ceremony as well the styling details for your table-scape. I'll bring a selection of vases and candlesticks. Every detail considered, the finished look intentionally curated.

Step four
Delivering dream flowers - recipes and installation

Following our site visit, I'll develop the final design and create the flower recipes for each requirement. A week to go, we'll have a call to run through the plan and calm any pre-wedding jitters. We'll be on site on the day itself and I'll bring your bouquets to the glorious chaos of the bridal prep room. Next stop is the chaps, and we'll pin on their buttonhole flowers, straighten the odd tie and provide warm words (and hugs!) if required.

Once everything is perfectly placed, we'll leave you to enjoy your magical day before returning the next morning to clear everything away. We can also stay to transfer the flowers from the ceremony to the reception or marquee.

" From the very start Fi has been exceptional, creating a bespoke proposal based on our (very rough!) ideas and the result was truly extraordinary. She completely captured our vision for the day and it was nothing short of perfect."

Frequently Asked Questions about Weddings Flowers

You're bound to have loads of questions and uncertainties as it's unlikely you've ever needed flowers of this type or on this scale before so please don't apologise if you're unsure of what something is called or what's included. My goal is to de-mystify the jargon and guide you through the world of wedding flowers with ease. Here are just some of the questions couples have.

Q&A:  How far in advance should we book with you for our wedding flowers?  Most couples book 6 to 12 months in advance, particularly if they are getting married on a weekend in May, June, July, August and September. Outside of these peak months or for midweek weddings on Mondays to Thursdays, its a good idea to book 3 to 6 months ahead.

Q&A: Do we need to buy our own vases, candlesticks and props? Absolutely not - all our flowers and styling comes with beautiful vessels, vases, candlesticks, urns and stands. We have built up a carefully curated collection over the years, which we refresh annually to reflect latest trends.

Q&A: I love peonies - will you be able to source them for my wedding? Peonies are fabulous but they have a very short season in the UK - late April to end of June usually but it varies depending on the weather. If peonies are not in season, I can recommend some gorgeous alternatives - read this blog post for inspiration

Question:  Can you stay to relocate the flowers after our wedding ceremony? Yes we can. Just let us know at the outset that this is the plan and we'll build it into our Service Charge for your wedding. Most installations for the ceremony, such as aisle flowers, arches and installations can be transported to the marquee or reception venue. The only thing we can't move once we've created them are full floral arches (too heavy to carry!) and garlands attached to church gates.

Question:  Do you offer face to face consultations and site visits? Yes we do. If it's a venue that we've not worked at before, a site visit is a must. We can do this with you, or if you live overseas, we can make our own arrangements. The detailed consultation meeting to plan your flowers can be held on Zoom or in person at the venue, depending on your preference. The details will be included in the Service Charge in your quotation.

Question:  What can you create for our marquee? Marquee wedding flowers are a specialty - in fact we spend most of the summer on ladders in marquees creating lush garlands, canopies, chandeliers and clouds of fresh flowers and foliage. Check out this blog post for ideas of where and how to create a truly immersive and memorable ambience for your guests.

Question:  Do you offer faux flowers? Alas not. We're fresh flower specialists. We occasionally use dried flowers where we're after a specific look and texture.

Question:  What happens to the flowers after the wedding? The flowers are yours if you'd like to take them home or gift them to guests (just remember to take them out of our vessels/vases). As part of our Service Charge, we'll return the day after the wedding and clear everything away.
