This was a dream of a brief - the perfect setting with a marquee on the lawn at the family home in the middle of the Cotswolds. For this quintessentially Cotswold garden wedding in a marquee at the family's home we wanted to create a real connection to nature with the different hues and textures of greenery. Working closely with wedding planner Dany from Oasis Events and the bride's mother who was a garden designer, we created a scheme that started at the marquee entrance with large pots filled with delicate branches of foliage and a froth of white 'ammi majus' flowers around the base and lead into a three pole marquee with tall birch trees at each pole. This wedding was very much a love letter to this English country garden and perfectly reflects the values and style of the family who lived and made memories there.
The Church Wedding Flowers and the Bouquets
An asymmetrical floral arch installation flowed over the doorway into this off-grid ancient church. We added lots of pillar candles to cast a soft glow together with tall trees, a garland full of twinkling lights and a row of meadows at the altar. As the guests entered the church, an installation of baskets, tall branches and a plinth display added to the ambience and provided a pop of brightness in the darkness of this ancient space.
The bridal bouquet was full of romance, scented roses, delicate blooms and fragrant greenery. The bridesmaids had matching bouquets with their blue dresses and the men wore delicate rose bud boutonnières with their morning suits.

The Marquee Wedding Flowers
A beautiful marquee from Original Marquees was located on a lawn at the bride's family home in the Cotswolds. With its deep flower borders and green hedges, we wanted the florals to link seamlessly to the setting. Lots of foliage was required together with table flowers in low bud vases, fragrant herbs and tea light votives. Tall birch trees hugged each of the king poles, adding height and drama with twinkling fairy lights woven through the branches to add to the ambience as dusk fell. The long banqueting tables were adorned with lots of eclectic glass bud vases filled with locally grown flowers and a flowing line of foliage. Green linen finished the look with oak cross back chairs adding to the sense of elegance. The marbled cake finished the styling with fresh flowers at each tier and the church flowers were repurposed to add the overall sense of softness and nature.
Conclusion ? If white and green is your dream, then this is the way to bring it to your marquee wedding.
