A venue site visit is a key part of the client journey when I'm planning your wedding flowers. If at all possible, we aim to do this with our couples at the same time of year as their wedding date so I can really absorb the setting, noting the flowers and foliage in bloom, the quality of the light and all the little architectural details that make each venue so special. These insights then inform my creative design process for the florals and the selection of the flowers.
For P & R's wedding at Euridge Manor in Wiltshire, the climbing roses on the house pillars and the garden roses that tumbled from the vintage stone urns caught my eye. The wedding ceremony florals in the iconic Boathouse echoed these features and felt truly nature and in harmony with the setting.
So in summary, when you're choosing your wedding floral designer, make sure you ask about the Site Visit. Save this blog post if you are planning your 2026 wedding!
